Our Financial Fun Boxes are the first and only financial literacy products of their kind. Sold individually (subscription coming soon!), the boxes include the perfect mix of financial education and fun.
Research shows that kids’ most important financial role models are their parents, and they end up learning most of what they know about money from them – even if parents are not consciously trying to teach them about it. That is why our Quests are meant to be played at home with parents, grandparents, or other caregivers.
Our Quests are great conversation starters when you’re just not sure how to have that “talk” with your child – at the store when she’s nagging, when she’s starting to borrow and trade things at school with her friends, or when you want to teach her how to set and achieve goals for herself. Parents have told us that they have referred back to some of the Quests and QuestGirls when reminding their daughters about specific scenarios and what the best decisions were at the time. The best part – it is so much fun!
Using the National Financial Educators’ Council (NFEC) Financial Literacy Framework and Standards, our curriculum was designed by leading experts in banking, education, child development, toy design, writing, and content creation.
We use physical games and interactive activities to tackle age-appropriate financial concepts, using play-based education and the experiential learning model: do, reflect, and apply to real life.
With inherQuests’ Financial Fun Box, kids will learn:
Each box cover specific learning goals with Quests including physical activities, creative projects, stories, pretend play, game boards, card-based games, artistic activities, real-life adventures, and more.
All boxes are reusable and can be played over and over again. Invite your friends, siblings, and cousins to join the fun! Enjoy on your next play date or simply while spending quality time with family. Either way, you’ll be able to engage in valuable conversations and teaching moments that they will stay with kids long after they complete their Quests.
Quests aren’t just created and approved by professional experts, but parents and kids love them, too!
“I was surprised that [my daughter] was enjoying the Quests so much. I have often tried to talk to her about money in real world scenarios, but her engagement was brief. When it was a game, she stayed interested for a much longer period and asked questions even after we had put everything away.”
– Megan S. (AR)
“It’s great that the games are reusable. These concepts come up over and over again in life so it’s helpful that we can use the games over and over again, too.”
– Jordan B. (PA)
“Besides being really engaged and a great learning tool for my daughter, I like that I learn about my daughter through these games. It’s actually great quality time – not at all “homework like.” The product is age-appropriate but allows flexibility to modify to make it slightly more or less challenging, so you can really tailor it to your child and how she’s feeling that day!”
– Cristel O. (NC)
